Neither Kate Moss nor Mario Sorrenti, but for Day 34, here is (me by me) a copycat photograph of her by him.
He took a couch to an old, abandoned, roofless, stone house on the beach in the British Virgin islands, and covered the top of the house with silk so that the light was soft. She was 19, he 21. I’m more than both ages added together and the soft light in my living room was courtesy of a 40W Ikea bulb.
Sorrenti features in the Face of Fashion at the National Portrait Gallery, London from February 15.
